Show organisers for the Hong Kong Yacht Show are hoping restrictions will ease up in time for the first edition of the HKYS, scheduled to take place between 19-22 November 2020.
Kara Yeung, Chief Executive of The Hong Kong Cruise & Yacht Industry Association and founding partner of HKYS, says: “Despite the continuing restrictions on business and social activity here, we are currently still assured that the Hong Kong Yacht Show will be able to open as planned in November. We are nearly sold out in terms of the yacht berths, with some 35 beautiful vessels now confirmed and many more on the waiting list."
The show will be on a "slightly smaller scale" than normal, but still hopes to take advantage of the "very mature" market in Hong Kong.
