Sanlorenzo reports strong business health as we come to the end of the third quarter of 2022, as it adds €248.5 million to its order book – which brings its backlog close to €1.7 billion.
The Italian company also reports that the net revenue from the sales of new yachts exceeds €544 million, up 27 percent compared with the sale period in 2021. Sanlorenzo cites performance in both Europe and the Americas as the driver of this performance. Sanlorenzo’s EBIT is up more than 40 percent, compared to the same period last year, exceeding €52 million.
"The solid results approved today by the Board of Directors have a double foundation: the goodness of our vision and the consequent strategic and organisational choices is associated with the indisputable advantage of belonging to the luxury segment, whose dynamics confirm extraordinary resilience with respect to a complex and challenging macroeconomic scenario,” Massimo Perotti, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sanlorenzo, commented.
“In this context, we read with particular satisfaction the performance of the third quarter, which saw the order intake continue to grow at a very rapid pace, favoured by the excellent commercial reception received by our new models during the first autumn shows,” Perotti continued. “We face the next two years with serenity and confidence, strengthened by a backlog that has reached the highest value ever close to €1.7 billion, which not only fully covers the results expected in 2022, but also and above all a significant share of the subsequent two: over €520 million refers to 2023 and over €260 million for 2024.”
