My name is Duncan Morris and I have raced sailing keelboats for 40 years. In 2007 I took a break and have not raced since. But I have the bug back, big style. I have purchased a pocket rocket whilst at only 19 feet is small but she is fast, fun and I’m sure can embarrass a lot of bigger boats. I am looking for three people to crew and work with me to put together a team to practice and race this wicked little beauty! I plan to race against small boats and big boats an hopefully depending on results do National and maybe some international events.

If I could find people with racing experience that would be great, but the most important thing to bring to the table is enthusiasm, a real sense of humour and the desire to learn and constantly get better as a Team.

The boat is called Anarchy Reigns after a song I wrote. We hope in our own small way to create a little anarchy!

The Team:

Foredeck/Mast person. Runs the spinnaker halyards and all bits of rope round the mast. Good if strong and wiry with a foredeck’s no fear attitude.

Trimmer/Tactics They will be in the middle of the boat also ideally strong again as there are no winches on this beaut! Would be great if they were 100 plus kilos to help keep her flat with my weight helping at the back.

Course layer for practice. We have a wicked new Tempest Easyline 570 with a new 80hp RIB and would like someone to come and lay racing marks to practice outside the New Marina in Agia Napa where she is based. They would need a RYA Licence. If they have a mate to come and help that would be great too. We might need you to help tow her to racing venues as well.

Hopefully there are amongst all the motor boats out there a few who fancy a white knuckle plane as I am told this little baby in the right wind has touched 15 knots…..
