ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has reimagined its popular Gran Turismo line with the introduction of a new 70-metre flagship. 

The first model springs from the design boards of Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi with a streamlined profile finished in steel grey and charcoal detailing. Minimal windows along the length of the hull emphasise the yacht's proportions while drawing the eye to ISA's signature arches connecting each of the decks.

The concept behind the new Gran Turismo design sought to enhance the outdoor connection compared to earlier models. This is most clearly displayed in the owner's "glasshouse" cabin, where slim frames around large floor-to-ceiling windows create a sense of continuity with the surrounding environment.

Elsewhere, the upper deck dining room becomes an extension of the aft deck, with 180-degree views emerging from sliding glass windows. Outdoor furnishings are characterised by curved shapes and warm wood that continue into the yacht's interior, complemented by a neutral colour pallette in addition to marble and brass accents throughout.

The GT 70 houses five double cabins, including a VIP suite complete with its own lounge. The owner's cabin is situated forward on the upper deck with private access to the foredeck, which includes an infinity pool, ample sunpads and an optional touch-and-go helipad. But the space can also be made available to guests, with light up paths in the flooring making it suitable for entertaining at all hours.

Other onboard highlights include a convivial beach club featuring a bar, LED television screen and large fold-down platforms on either side and towards the stern of the vessel.

The yard also revealed that a 50-metre Gran Turismo model is currently in the works, with the announcement following on the recent sale of a new custom 66-metre superyacht.
