Bilgin Yachts has just announced that the 80-metre superyacht Project Silence sold following a collaboration with Bluewater Yachting. The superyacht, which is the third of the Bilgin 263 series to have been sold, will offer her owner 20 percent more volume than her sisterships, in addition to a number of technical features which will create even more comfort when on the water.

The superyacht, sistership of Tatiana now Sevanna, will be built at the facility in Istanbul and will be launched in 2023. Unique Yacht Design has partnered with the shipyard for her naval architecture and exterior design, while H2 Yacht Design has penned her interior design and exterior living areas.

Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design, describes the series as follows: "With the design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding a high dosage of design clichés. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world. This will clearly make her a trendsetter among steel and aluminium superyachts of today.

Silence will be able to reach top speeds of 19 knots, while her builders have been careful to remain within IMO TIER III compliance and her fuel consumption at 12 knots is 280 litres per hour. Silence's technical improvements include a large generator capacity, as well as a unique layout that differs from the previous yachts in the series. 

She has a different layout than her predecessors,” says Özgün, “The owner's deck is located above the main deck for more privacy and the wheel house is on the top deck for better bridge visibility. The magnificent change is on the staircase located in the centre of the hull and the large, round lift connecting the decks from bottom to top.” However like Sevanna, the yacht features a large beach deck and swim platform.

Silence will accommodate as many as 12 guests, with two VIPs on the main deck and three double staterooms on the lower deck. She also features a large owner's deck above the main deck.

The second hull of the series is due to be launched this year, while Bilgin also has a 74-metre superyacht due for delivery in 2024 and two 50-metre yachts ready for launch in the coming months.
