The 74.85-metre Admiral superyacht Kenshō has been launched in Italy. She will now undergo outfitting and sea trials before her delivery in 2022. The yacht has been designed in collaboration with her owner, an experienced yachtsman who as worked closely with the shipyard and design teams from Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture, Archineers.Berlin and Agence Jouin Manku, who penned her interior.

Some standout features of the superyacht include 2.7 metre high ceilings throughout, a 22 metre-cubed beach club area with a pool facing aft. Her interior is finished with organic shapes and clean sweeping lines that are a consistent motif throughout the yacht and the spaces are finished in high quality materials, including teak, marble, Onyx, silk, wool, bronze and glass.

The bulwarks of the yacht have been lowered to allow maximum views through her floor-to-ceiling windows and the yacht features a spacious full-beam master suite that can be divided allowing an increased level of privacy for her owner.

Technical Marine UK have overseen the build on behalf of the owner, acting as project managers and technical surveyors. Kenshō has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure and is powered by a state-of-the-art diesel electric propulsion system, offering the yacht high efficiency and power.

The design has been developed giving important weight to the environmental perspective, not only in the respect of the “ECO” notation of the Classification Body, supplying the propulsion system with five variable speed generators, all equipped with antiparticle system so to optimise consumption at every speed and reduce emissions in the atmosphere.
