Ferretti Yachts have just unveiled the details of the 30.5-metre superyacht, the Ferretti 1000, which is the Italian shipbuilder’s largest superyacht to date. The model is the brand’s newest flagship.
The first unit of the model was launched successfully in March. The superyacht Ferretti 1000 has been designed in collaboration by an all-Italian team, which included the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, Filippo Salvetti and IdaeItalia, who penned her exterior and interior designs, respectively. Her exterior is characterised by sporty lines and an extensive use of glass, which also provides her interior with ample natural light. Teak decking is used throughout her exterior spaces.
The first unit of the Ferretti 1000 has been described by her builders as having classic styling and finished with a soft, balanced and neutral colour palette. A core element of her design was to evoke a “just like home” feeling. Her interior features full-height windows, which provide a connection to her exterior, whilst walnut wood and marble are used throughout.
The superyacht is laid out across two decks, which can accommodate as many as 10 guests across five cabins. A main deck owner’s stateroom can be accessed from the bow and is complete with a walk-in wardrobe and sofa. The suite also features a full-beam bathroom, which also fashions the combination of wood, marble and glass The furnishings used in the master stateroom have been custom-designed. Guest accommodations are found on the lower deck.
The main deck is home to a 40 square-metre space to the stern, which features a beach club with a swim platform and outdoor wellness area. From here, a tender garage can be accessed, which can accommodate a tender, Jet Ski, Seabobs and more. The aft deck features a large dining table, which can also be transformed into a coffee table making the space more versatile. Glass doors provide access to the Ferretti 1000’s main saloon, which features a 10-person dining area, entertainment space and access to the galley.
The superyacht is operated by a crew of five, and their living quarters are situated on the lower deck to the bow. One of the Ferretti 1000’s standout features is her spacious 55 square-metre flybridge. In addition to a helm station, the area is complete with a dining area, sofa and a double bar.
Performance-wise, the Ferretti 1000 is outfitted with twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines allowing her to reach a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots.
