Construction continues at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno as the steel hull and aluminium superstructure of the 65-metre FB274 has been joined. With outfitting due to begin, the new custom superyacht is on schedule to be delivered during the first half of 2021.  

The operation involved the hull of the FB274 being moved from her construction shed and the 55-tonne superstructure being positioned into place over the hull via crane. The 30-strong Benetti team planned for a welded bimetal component at the joining point between the boat’s hull and upper section, which will take place over the coming four weeks.
