The fifth and final day of the 6th Mediterranean Yacht Show came to a triumphant end, with attendees having one last chance to inspect the dazzling array of luxury yachts lined up in the port of Nafplion.

 After familiarising themselves with the superior standard of boats on show and meeting the welcoming captains and crews, the charter agents and industry professionals bade farewell to Nafplio, making resolutions to return again next year.

 Thanks to the warm hospitality of the residents of the town, who wholly embrace the show each year, Nafplion has become synonymous with MEDYS and visitors left with the most positive impressions.

 The last evening of MEDYS 2019 saw the presentation of awards to the winners of the Chefs’ Competition at a special ceremony. This year’s theme challenged the participants to create a dish based on gourmet 'beach' food that met the high standards one would expect to find on a luxury yacht.

The winners clearly outdid themselves in terms of presentation, taste and originality and received their awards with great satisfaction.

Members of the luxury yacht crews had an opportunity to finally let their hair down at the lively Crew Party which was organised by HYCA with the support of GYA at the Rosso Music Cafe - Bar.

After 5 very busy days, the show ended on a truly celebratory note with music and laughter and a fun-filled night was enjoyed by all!
