The Mediterranean Yacht Show is now in its 6th year and continues to take place in Nafplion, one of the most picturesque port towns in Greece. It is the ideal setting for such an event with its protected harbour, charming architecture and close proximity to Athens.

As this year’s show has been extended to a 5 day event, visitors will have even more time to absorb the wonderful ambience of the historical town and to enjoy the sunny weather, in between inspecting the most luxurious line up of crewed charter yachts to be gathered in one place at any one time!

Each year, hundreds of brokers arrive in Nafplion to check out the selection of premium crewed yachts available for charter in Greece. Coming from all corners of the globe, the international visitors have become so enamoured with the location that they have put MEDYS on their list of ‘not-to-be-missed’ shows. As a trade event, MEDYS is organised to highlight the best of the Greek charter yachting sector and to promote the excellent standards of services and facilities available.

But the show also offers plenty of opportunity to socialise and to enjoy the celebratory atmosphere, as well as the warm Greek hospitality, which is in abundance everywhere. Whether meeting the captains and crew of the stunning yachts and discovering the elevated dining experiences on offer or attending the glamorous yacht parties organised throughout the event, visitors leave Nafplion on a real high note, taking with them the most positive impressions.

The 6th Mediterranean Yacht Show is bound to be another amazing event, with a large number of yachts participating again this year and an even greater number of visitors expected. What makes it extra special is the magnificent setting, with the majestic Palamidi Fortress towering over the Venetian port and the rich history of the charming town. From undergoing centuries of siege by various foreign armies until its role as capital of the First Hellenic Republic from 1823 until 1834, Nafplion has a lot to offer.
