Presided over by Prince Albert II of Monaco himself and hosted by global fundraising chair Milutin Gatsby, Event Chairs for the gala include celebrities such as Martin Scorsese, Kevin Spacey, Eva Longoria, Madonna, Arnold Scwarzenegger, Goldie Hawn, Uma Thurman, Joe Pesci and Tobey McGuire, thus significantly adding to the stars to look out for in Monaco.

During the course of the evening Leonardo DiCaprio will be presented with the Award of the Albert II of Monaco Foundation for his outstanding commitment to protect and preserve the environment. DiCaprio founded the conservation-focused Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998 which, alongside the star-studded Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala held in St Tropez each year, has donated millions to help raise awareness and support initiatives combatting climate change, aiding ocean conservation, wildlands conservation, indigenous rights and researching solutions to these global crises.

Other highlights of the evening include a live auction conducted by Simon de Pury, which will feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences, such as a luxury Antarctic expedition with explorer Johan Ernst Nilson, playing a game of five-a-side football against Neymar Jr, and a tennis match with Rafael Nadal. Other top lots include a week’s charter on 82.5 metre yacht O’Mega, Lorraine Schwartz’s stunning Planet Pendant necklace and fine art by the likes of Picasso, Jeff Koons and Francis Bacon.
