8th Mediterranean Yacht Show 29 April - 3 May 2023

Dear friends and colleagues,

One of my favourite times of the year has arrived: the countdown to the Mediterranean Yacht Show. As the number of days that separate us from the opening event decreases, the number of registered yachts is increasing at an impressive rate.

What is the current count?
92 yachts have confirmed their attendance and there are more in line. The MEDYS has already claimed the title of the largest crewed yacht charter show in the world but 2023 just might be our best year yet!

And is it not only a matter of numbers.
Raising the bar is equally important to us, and one of the events that is set to do exactly that is the Chefs’ Competition. This year’s panel of judges already includes Greece’s very own Chef George Papazacharias of Delta restaurant in Athens and Chef Antonio Mellino of Quattro Passi restaurant in Nerano, Italy. Both restaurants proudly hold two Michelin stars. And we are not quite done with the judges yet! Expect more news in the near future.

Exhibitors' stands are already sold out and sponsors from all over the world are expressing strong interest. The press will also be there in full force and, at this point, we are delighted to announce that Boat International will be joining us as the Global Official Media Sponsor of the 2023 MEDYS and Skipper On Deck will once again be supporting us as the Greek Official Media Sponsor. We welcome both of them on board and look forward to a productive and creative cooperation.

As most of you probably already know, the 8th MEDYS will take place once again in the charming port of Nafplion from April 29th to May 3rd 2023. We may be returning to the usual venue but we will be shaking things up with “never been done before” events. Not to mention some new advertising opportunities with the best footfall you could imagine.

All the Board Members of the Greek Yachting Association would like to thank you for your continued support over the years. It has fueled our passion and commitment to making the MEDYS what it is today: a testament to the power, strength and resilience of Greek yachting.
