With a total of eight races held over four days, the Swan One Design Worlds saw ClubSwan 36, ClubSwan 50 and Swan 45 yachts compete in separate classes. The ClubSwan 50 and Swan 45 yachts were competing for world title crowns while the ClubSwan 36 yachts were chasing a Gold Cup title.

After four days of racing, it was Hatari which took the ClubSwan 50 crown, Motions which triumphed in the Swan 45 class and the ClubSwan 36 Cetilar Vitamina which took the Gold Cup.

The intense racing programme was followed by the Scarlino Private Boat Show, which showcased the full Swan line as well as some pre-owned yachts listed for sale through Nautor’s Swan brokerage. The 11 boats on display included the Swan 98, Swan 78 and Swan 65.

Nautor’s Swan chief executive Giovanni Pomati said being able to host the event had been “amazing”.

“Positivity was palpable and having happy sailors coming from eleven countries to take part in our regatta is something we are very proud of.”

He added: “Showing our entire world tangibly in one venue was impressive, we’ve been able to welcome under one roof the different fans of the brand, whether they are fond of racing or cruising, or both. It’s thanks to them that the Swan Experience was a great success.”
