After suggesting in September that the Hong Kong Yacht Show would still go ahead, show co-organiser Verventia has now confirmed that the show will be postponed. Originally scheduled to run from the 19 - 22 November this year, the inaugural show cannot go ahead.
Andy Treadwell, CEO of Verventia said: “With just over four weeks left until the planned opening of the first edition of the Hong Kong Yacht Show, there is unfortunately still a lot of uncertainty about exactly what we would be able to deliver next month. So, with the agreement of the vast majority of our exhibitors, for whose wholehearted support we are extremely grateful, we have decided to postpone the show to October 2021.”
