Vilamoura Marina has won the title of International Marina of the Year, awarded in the United Kingdom by the Yacht Harbour Association, Ltd, at the Southampton Boat Show.

The accolade was presented at the 7th edition of the Awards recognising the best marinas in the world, among the 160 with Gold Anchor accreditation. Prizes are awarded by boat owners’ votes, reflecting the high level of customer satisfaction regarding the infrastructure and services offered by Vilamoura Marina.

This award follows others already received, including the International Marina of Distinction 2015-2017, awarded in recognition by the Algarve Marina for being awarded for three consecutive years as International Marina of the Year, in addition to winning International Marina 2018/2019, all presented by The Yacht Harbour Association.

Celebrating 45 years of existence, Vilamoura Marina was a pioneer in Portugal. Over the decades, the Marina’s offerings have grown and updated with a current capacity of 825 moorings, a fully operational shipyard, a professional training centre, a strong commercial environment and the marina hosting various international boating events, including the 420 World Cup in 2019.
