The 2019 Progressive® Insurance Miami International Boat Show, presented by West Marine, kicked off yesterday (14 February) at Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin and runs through President’s Day.

2019 marks the show’s 78^th year and its fourth year on Virginia Key, showcasing the industry’s most comprehensive collection of recreational boats and boating products. With new boat sales on the rise, and early reports of strong sales from other boat shows across the country, the 2019 Miami Boat Show is expected to see a big boost for the industry heading into Q2.

The Miami Boat Show team has taken feedback from exhibitors and attendees and is continuing to streamline transportation options for this year, making it easier to get to and from the show. Transportation for 2019 includes complimentary water taxis to and from downtown Miami, more shuttle bus options including a shuttle to and from the Miami Yacht Show and the Key Biscayne Ritz-Carlton, plus the addition of the ‘Miami Connections’ app, powered by RaftUp. 

Show highlights for 2019 include the new Costa Conservation Village, new BoatU.S. On-Water Training Program, and VIP Experience presented by Porsche.

The Innovation Breakfast takes place today, featuring a host of industry awards’ presentations and special guest speakers.
