Golden Yachts: Two Vessels from Páris Drángnis’ Shipyard Among the Most Expensive for Charter in 2026 at €1.2 Million per Week

Greek shipbuilding at the very top of the global superyacht market

Golden Yachts, owned by Paris Dragnis, once again confirms its international leadership in the ultra-luxury yachting sector, as two of its most iconic yachts, O’Pari and Project X, rank among the most expensive yachts for charter worldwide for 2026.

With weekly charter rates exceeding one million euros, these two Greek-built superyachts embody the cutting edge of shipbuilding expertise, design and high-end hospitality.

O’Pari – €1.15 million per week

The flagship of Golden Yachts, O’Pari is a 94.6-metre motor yacht built in Greece, delivered in 2020 and upgraded in 2025. It ranks among the top 5% of yachts worldwide by length (LOA) and is one of only 35 motor yachts in the 90–100-metre range.

O’Pari offers a top speed of 20 knots and a range of up to 8,600 nautical miles at cruising speed, powered by two Caterpillar diesel engines. It has a gross tonnage of 2,743 GT, a beam of 13.8 metres and features a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and teak decks.

Compared with yachts of similar size, its cruising speed is 0.95 knots higher than the average, while its top speed also exceeds the average by 1.24 knots.

The yacht accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 cabins, supported by a crew of 29 to 30, offering the experience of a private floating resort. Both interior and exterior spaces cater equally to relaxation and active leisure. Its garage is fully equipped with water toys, including kayaks, SeaBobs, water-ski and wakeboard equipment.

The large sundeck stands out, featuring a DJ booth, bar and a panoramic jacuzzi, while the sea-level beach club includes a massage room, Turkish hammam and Finnish sauna. A helipad completes the profile of a yacht designed for ultimate autonomy and comfort.

Both the exterior and interior design bear the signature of Studio Vafiadis, while naval architecture was developed by Nafpigiki Hellas. O’Pari sails under the Maltese flag and is available for charter through Fraser.

Project X – €1.2 million per week

Slightly shorter but equally impressive, Project X is an 87.6-metre motor superyacht, also built in Greece by Golden Yachts and delivered in 2022. With a weekly charter rate reaching €1.2 million, it ranks among the most expensive yachts for charter worldwide.

The distinctive triple “X” detail at the base of the superstructure, combined with the exterior design by Ken Freivokh, makes Project X instantly recognisable. Its striking exterior sets the tone for the interior, where a dramatic three-deck atrium with internal balconies and a circular glass elevator connects all levels.

The bright, contemporary spaces feature artistic lighting by Italy’s Studio Massari, while the main deck hosts a library and a professional DJ set positioned to visually “bridge” the deck pool.

At sea level, Project X boasts an impressive beach club with two terraces, a large swim platform and a sit-up bar overlooking the glass-sided swimming pool located directly above. The fully equipped spa includes a sauna, hammam and a massage room that also serves as a beauty and wellness area.

Project X offers a top speed of 18.2 knots and a cruising range of 5,500 nautical miles, powered by two Caterpillar engines. It has a gross tonnage of 2,974 GT, a beam of 14.8 metres and can accommodate up to 18 guests in 9 cabins, with a crew of 25 to 28.

Naval architecture was developed by Marco Yachts, while the interior design was created by Massari Design. Project X also ranks among the top 5% of yachts worldwide by length and is one of only 68 motor yachts in the 80–90-metre category. Compared with similar yachts, it exceeds the average by 1.04 knots in cruising speed and by 538.79 GT in volume.

It also sails under the Maltese flag and is available for charter through Camper & Nicholsons.

With O’Pari and Project X, Golden Yachts is not merely achieving commercial success, but is firmly establishing Greek shipbuilding at the very highest level of the global superyacht market — where luxury is measured in metres, knots and unforgettable life experiences.
